Elegant. The Hairbond Shaper looks like glass but actually made out of thick plastic. Love the orange on this one. Really impressed with the attention to detail including an inner protective seal in order to keep your product fresh! The number of times cheap products have dried out on me, this is a game-changer! 5/5
Application:
Wow this stuff doesn’t break down, I mean, it doesn’t need to, it’s already so pliable and creamy, making its really easy to coat your hands and hair with. 5/5
Finish:
This product gives you that look of just leaving an expensive hair salon. I can understand now what all the fuss is about. Depending on how much you use and the hair type you have, you can both a matte look or a low shine finish with a little more. 5/5
Consistency:
Creamy with just the right amount of stickyness for a strong hold. 5/5
Hold:
It is labelled as 5 notches out of 5 for hold. 5/5

5/5 full house!

American Crew Fiber I like the blue on brown combo but this does not shout industry leader sorry. It could easily be mistaken for a pot of face cream. 2/5.
Application:
Breaks down easy and styles well but there is a bit more resistance than I would have liked, it’s not unpleasant, but I can tell it’s the essential in order to get the volume you might be using this product for. 3/5
Finish:
This is not completely true matte as there is a very low shine. Shine isn’t a problem but when I look for matte I ideally want a truely natural final look. 3/5
Consistency:
Easy to scoop. Nice consistency for the product type. Prefer it if it was less waxy 4/5
Hold:
I’ve had better experiences using this product when my hairs been much shorter. If you have medium styled hair you may be disappointed in the hold department. 3/5
