But are they the best in the world as others claim?! Let’s first check out their story.
The Story of Morris Motley
Morris Motley is supposed to be a premium hair studio and hair styling brand from Melbourne, Australia.
Owner and passionate hairdresser Rob Mason is the man behind the brand, they say he’s driven by precision; through corners; through anatomy in the human face.
Rob’s success stems from his ability to skillfully map and interpret the anatomy of each face and then set exact hair styling requirements for his male clients from that image. Basically he’s a tip top hair stylist.

The Morris Motley Men’s Hair Care line was developed by Rob to support his signature, contemporary hair styling;
“I’m reinventing the concept of men’s hair products. Premium men’s haircare is a neglected market. The general consensus is that men don’t care about haircare, so most brands use only the cheapest and most basic ingredients. The shampoos strip hair of its natural oils. The styling products cause scalp irritation. It’s my goal to turn all that on its head with my formulations, which respect, mimic and nurture the unique biochemistry of the hair and scalp. ”

On his path of research in Haircare Science in which he collaborated with renowned Australian Cosmetic Chemist Richard Parker, Rob has developed his versatile Morris Motley Treatment Styling Balm. Handmade like the rest of his hair products at the time – until the demand became too great.

Is it any good?
Overall I would rate this brand and its products a 6/10.
Whilst the performance of the products somewhat measures up to what they say on their £45 per product tins, the user experience from application to hold, texture, the fragrances, it was all actually disappointingly mediocre.
I understand there are import costs which can inflate imported products, but can someone please tell me why we need to be spending nearly £50 per product on importing “premium professional products” from global brands when we have our very own high quality British labels in our own back yard. It’s actually rediculous come to think of it.
So definitely not worth the money.
