Wahoo another brand battle! Getting straight to the point it’s American Crew Fiber VS Hairbond United Kingdom Wonder Professional Hair Primer
Today we will find out which product ranks better under evaluation from the main categories, packaging, application, finish, consistency, hold, overall and what the brand actually say about their product.
What will rank higher? Will it be Wonder Professional Hair Primer made by UK hair care brand Hairbond United Kingdom, or Fiber by American Crew?
But before we get into it, who are American Crew and Hairbond United Kingdom?
American Crew say they have been redefining what it means to be a well-groomed man and as the global leader in men’s grooming and the “Official Supplier to Men”, they have an ongoing commitment to elevating men’s style and enhancing their personal image by providing education and marketing which shares the brands’ vision.
Hairbond United Kingdom, on the other hand, say with Great Britain being at the centre of the fashion world, they can claim rich customs and heritage that are connected with it. This brand says their products are not just a commodity but are a lifestyle essential. Their aim was to launch the highest quality brand with a superb range of products that prove that British haircare is truly the very best in the world. The Hairbond range has intended to deliver its promise of quality by maintaining the highest possible standards, using top of the range product formulations and ingredients to create an authentic British solution for the ultimate hairstyling results.
Let’s take a look, each category will be marked out of 5, first up is the Hairbond Wonder Professional Hair Primer Spray! Let the brand battle commence!

Hairbond United Kingdom Wonder Professional Hair Primer Spray

Packaging:
Elegant and modern. It may look like glass but this is actually made of plastic. The actual product pump is protected by a plastic cap too. Purple on white looks super. 5/5
Application:
I quickly noticed this product isn’t intended to spray directly onto the hair like you would with a watery substance product for maximum coverage. Due to the products thicker consistency, it doesn’t come out like that. It is recommended that you spray this product into your hands first and then apply to the hair that way. If you choose not to you’ll just have to put more energy into distributing it around your hair. 4/5
Finish:
Soft, matte look, use in conjunction with a hairdryer for best results. 5/5
Consistency:
Conditioner. 4/5
Hold:
Strong matte effect once dry. Great to build foundations to a matte style. 4/5
Overall:
4/5

Lets see how the American Crew Fiber can compete with that!

American Crew Fiber

Packaging:
American Crew Fiber I am disappointed. Outdated although the side font is nice. 2/5.
Application:
Waxy feel but breaksdown well. Some tug and pull in my thick medium-long hair. 3/5
Finish:
Nice matte look. Had better. Don’t use too much it will start to look greasy. 3/5
Consistency:
Nice consistancy. 4/5
Hold:
Anything longer than 4 inches starts to droop. 3/5
Overall:
3/5
What They Say
“Fiber-like, resinous product helps thicken, texturize and increase fullness to hair. Provides a strong, pliable hold with a matte finish. Works well in shorter hair, 1-3 inches in length. For high hold with low shine.”

And the winner is..

With an impressive 4/5, the Hairbond Wonder Primer champions over American Crew’s Fiber ‘s 3/5
For a closer battle between American Crew and Hairbond, I did another brand battle, American Crew Fiber VS Hairbond United Kingdom Moulder. These products have more similar properties as they are both matte look waxes.
